What kind of differences do you see between the way men and women think about relationships?

Pretty broad question. I'm just thinking about the different things that seem to be important to men and women in relationships. What are the biggest differences in your opinion?What kind of differences do you see between the way men and women think about relationships?

Its like they dont care
Well for men it's pretty much straight to the point having sex. Ladies kind a like slow foreplay and romance. There ya go!!
women tend to think that guys really want to be their ';friend'; and their are a few guys that will only do that. but for most guys if a woman did not have that certain thing they have. a guy would have nothing to do with them. guys tend to really only want one woman. even though they cheat a lot it is mostly to do with the visual asspect of things.
Women= love emotions commitment


Men= sex
Men think women are crazy, women think men are...simple as that, but I think its important and not enough ppl realize that their partner is sensitive and needs support, not judgement and advice...men and women both.

Men can only think about being physical/sex when it comes to relationships whereas women are more emotional and they take relationship very seriously and would do whatever it takes to work on the relationship.
As far as I know, women are more emotional quicker while men tend to hold back, trying not to feel as much.
i think that the women take it a lot more seriously, (that doesnt mean men cant be serious, too) and they just make it a point to make their relationship higher on their priority list.


i think the men just think of it as something extra (again, not lumping all men into one group, its just the way i see it) and not to really be serious about.
I think woman are sensitive about different things to men. Also we show our emotions more and therefore make the situation appear more important than maybe it should be. On average most men need to be more open.. but as they find some things more important than we do.. would we listen. I think men think about sex more than woman. And they think about it on a different level to us. We like love more and they like just the sex more. We tend to be involved in children and cleaning house more and find this important in a hygienic and tidy way. Most men dont really care much for that kind of thing, even if they live on their own. So different levels of importance for different things. I sometimes feel that we can take a leaf out of a mans book and not take life so serious.. And men could do with facing their emotions and not run away or ignore them as some do.
women think about what to put into the relationship and guys think about what they are going to get out of the relationship.
the differences aren't gender related, but depend on the individual in question... :D
